Trading Places International Holds "Town Hall" Meetings for David Walley's Resort

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. November 2, 2010 – Trading Places International (TPI) hosted a series of informational meetings in October for current David Walley’s Resort owners to introduce themselves as the new management company and to discuss the future of the resort.

Working with the David Walley’s board of directors, TPI organized three “town hall” meetings in Sacramento, CA and Genoa, NV. These two sites have a high ownership population, and Genoa is where the resort is located. Response for the first meeting in Sacramento was so overwhelming, a fourth meeting was added to the agenda to accommodate the large number of owners. Over 900 owners were in attendance to ask their questions and learn about the progress the board of directors and Trading Places have made with their resort.

“The meetings were a huge success,” said Marlena Forst, president of the David Walley’s board of directors. “We made a great decision in selecting Trading Places for management – their expertise is unparalleled. The owners were eager to ask questions and left feeling optimistic about the bright future of David Walley’s.”

Topics of discussion included future on-site plans, the resort’s current financial position and future goals, and culminated with a Q&A session with the board of directors and RJ Jackson, president of Trading Places International. Summer Winds Resorts was introduced as the owners of the recently-acquired resort spa, restaurant, deli, cottages, and undeveloped land across the road from David Walley’s. They have also acquired a large number of unsold timeshare intervals. This partnership is expected to generate beneficial amenities to the owners and the resort in general.

David Walley's Hot Springs Resort & Spa is an oasis in Carson Valley, Nevada, set at the base of the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains. The resort offers hot mineral springs/pools, a number of amenities, and comfortable, spacious accommodations. Located just 30 minutes from the world-class skiing and exciting casino hub of South Lake Tahoe, David Walley’s makes the perfect family vacation for year-round fun. www.davidwalleys-resort.com
